Flourless Chocolate Peanut Butter Drops

If you love peanut butter and chocolate, then you’ll love these! Not only are they a delicate, sweet treat, these Peanut Butter Drops are made with whole food ingredients.

These are perfect if you’re looking for a snack that satisfies your sweet tooth while still being wholesome at the same time. These peanut butter drops are made with the simplest of ingredients and take no longer than 10 minutes in the oven.

For this recipe I like making the chocolate icing for the center, but you can use chocolate chips, nuts, raisins, banana slices, or a combination of any other ingredient instead.

Flourless Chocolate Peanut Butter Drops

A simple, flourless treat sweet made with chocolate and peanut butter.

For the dough

  • 1 jar (500g) natural, unsweetened smooth peanut butter

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 tbsp coconut flour

  • 1/4 cup raw honey or maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

For the center icing (substitute chocolate chips if desired)

  • 1/2 cup cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (or softened grass-fed butter)

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or raw honey

  • pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.

  2. Mix together peanut butter, eggs and vanilla in bowl. In separate bowl, stir coconut flour, baking soda and salt. Combine with peanut butter mixture until smooth, doughy texture.

  3. Roll dough into bite-sized balls and place on greased baking pan. (I always grease my pans with butter or coconut oil). Using end of spoon or other utensil, form a hole in the centre of each cookie.

  4. Prepare icing by combining all ingredients in small bowl with spoon. Transfer to small resealable bag, cut hole in corner and squeeze into centre of cookies.

  5. Bake at 325F for 10 mins until cookies are golden brown on bottom but are still soft.

  6. Enjoy!
